With the summer coming up, I’ve been talking a lot about getting your posts scheduled ahead of time. I always find it really interesting when I focus on advice like that, because I end up learning so much about your concerns. So let’s dive into the three most common ones:
“I forget posts are going out“
I can understand this concern because you worry that you won’t necessarily remember where this post was coming from – but honestly, it’s my favourite part about scheduling content!
Firstly, because if it goes out and makes you think, “What was I even trying to get at?”, that’s probably exactly how your audience feels when they see it too.
Secondly, because when that post does go out, you’ve forgotten about the bits you weren’t sure about, and you see the post with fresh eyes.
And thirdly, because rather than hitting ‘Post’ and waiting for that first person to engage with you, you remember that the post went out when that first bit of engagement comes through.
“I don’t have time right now”
When you think about scheduling posts for next week, you worry that it means that you have to create both this week’s and next week’s content now – but here’s the thing: when you start scheduling ahead, you’ll start to make the most of repurposing and reusing content. That means that you’ll soon be saving time on content creation. Imagine one post posted today and then scheduled to go again next week, that’s hardly any extra work!
How does the Core Content Kit help you with this concern? The process we guide you through encourages you to repost and repurpose the posts multiple times, so you’re not actually creating as many posts as you might think!

“I can’t think that far ahead”
Scheduling content doesn’t actually commit you to anything. Imagine this – your core posts, the ones where the message is basically always true, get scheduled, so every week you have one or two posts going out strategically. That gives you so much freedom!
Now if you don’t have anything to say, you don’t have to post. If you’ve got something to share, you can post. And suddenly, posting becomes about sharing how you’re feeling rather than worrying about promoting your business. Suddenly, you’ve given yourself the freedom to talk about what you want when you want – without having to think ahead at all!
